Combating legionella with STMS

T piece sensors, which are easy to include at critical points in the water pipes (hot and cold), continually measure the temperature of the water and send the measurements wirelessly to the Sitex Data Management Group via the gateway mobile telephone. The data is accessible on Internet with a user name and a password.

When the temperature (which is adjustable, cold: 20.1°C and hot: 59.9 °C for example) is exceeded an alarm report will be sent by telephone, text message or email. The telephone number of the technical service can be programmed in so that they can be immediately telephoned, sent an email or a text message when an excess temperature threatens. Critical temperatures (20-60 °C) which encourage the formation of legionella bacteria, belong to the past.

The operation of the wireless STMS
Sensors from the STMS continually measure the temperature and send the measurements wirelessly via the Gateway’s built-in mobile telephone to the Sitex Data Management Group. The data is accessible on Internet with a user name and password.
